The Open CEM
HealthTasks is the Open CEM: the system of record for clinical education that connects to the campus and hospital systems you already trust, without another portal.
Clinical education should not force a second stack on your school or another portal on your hospitals.
Most nursing and allied health programs already have systems for students, courses, identity, reporting, and hospital staffing. The work still breaks down in the middle: placements, clearance, evaluations, and skills evidence live in one place while everyone else waits on exports, email, and overnight file drops.
HealthTasks is built to be the home for that clinical education work, and to connect it to the systems you already trust. We call that the Open CEM.
Stay the system of record. Connect the rest.
An Open CEM does not ask your institution to rip out Salesforce, Canvas, or your identity provider. It does not ask hospital partners to abandon the schedulers they already run.
It keeps clinical education in one place, then makes it straightforward for IT and partners to bring that picture into the tools they use every day.
That looks like:
- Your teams sign in with the same campus identity they already use
- Clinical data can move into the SIS or reporting tools leadership already opens
- Hospital partners see who is coming, whether students are cleared, and unit capacity in their own stack
- Changes do not have to wait for last night's spreadsheet
Public docs and a modern API make that possible. The point for buyers is simpler: fewer portals, fewer handoffs, and a clinical education platform that fits the rest of the enterprise.
How programs use it today
Your institutional systems. Many programs run Salesforce as their SIS, or as a hybrid CRM and SIS. They can bring HealthTasks placements, compliance, and clinical progress into those workflows without waiting on a custom connector build. The same idea applies when leadership wants clinical education metrics in Power BI alongside the rest of institutional reporting.
Your people. Students, faculty, and staff should not keep a separate password for clinical education software. Enterprise sign-on and directory sync connect HealthTasks to IdPs programs already trust, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Google Workspace.
Your clinical sites. Hospitals should not need another portal to run the floor. Partners can sync schedules, clearance readiness, and unit capacity into tools they already use, limited to the sites you choose. HealthTasks stays with the school. Kronos, Epic, Workday, or the site’s own scheduler stays with the hospital.
Get started
If you are evaluating CEM platforms on more than a feature checklist, ask how clinical education will sit next to the stack you already run.
